Why can’t I use my current Deezer subscription?
Your Deezer account, linked to a Deezer Premium, Deezer Duo, or Deezer Family subscription, is designed for personal and private use. Using it in a professional setting is prohibited and may result in penalties. That’s why we created Deezer Business, a legal and reliable solution specifically tailored to the needs of businesses, regardless of their industry.
How do I know if I need one or multiple subscriptions?
If you want to stream the same music in multiple areas of the same establishment, without any distinction in music programming and using the same sound system, a single subscription is sufficient.
If you wish to create distinct musical atmospheres in different areas of the same site, you will need to define several “zones” and obtain multiple subscriptions.
If you have multiple establishments, you will need a separate subscription for each one.
Am I exempt from paying performance rights to my local PRO?
With Deezer Business, we cover the copyright for the tracks in our catalog, as well as the reproduction rights, allowing you to stream music via our app or box. However, public broadcasting rights must be settled directly with your local PRO, as each rate is specific to your establishment and its activity.
